for Trailers
With
the Muldoon System the steer axle can be fitted
even further back than a conventional steer
system, this will give even bigger benefits to
the haulier
As well as the
obvious improved manoeuvrability, tyre wear and
logistics, The Muldoon Steer System has other
major benefits when fitted on a trailer with
forklift mounted at rear.
 Because
the rear axle steers, it can be fitted further
back on the trailer. This means less overhang
and more
support for the
forklift at the rear. Therefore, the weight of
the trailer will be kept on the fifth wheel at
the front, eliminating traction difficulties
with the tractor unit and reducing stresses on
the back of the trailer (as illustrated in the
diagram).
