Hookmate Drawbar Trailers

Hook-loader trailers range from the most popular 24-tonne tri-axle configuration (for 44-tonne operation) to 18-tonne tandem axle and 12–14-tonne tandem axle variants. All models include retractable draw-beams as standard. While many are built to carry CHEM standard containers, others are multi-width to accommodate converted cable-width containers with varying roller types and characteristics, or even the smaller HL5 containers suited to lighter trailer ranges.

Skip trailers are available in weight options from 12–18-tonne tandem axle for single skips to 24-tonne tri-axle for twin or single skips. These can be supplied with a variety of sheeting options and all include lashing rails, rope hooks, and adjustable or removable front skip stops. A retractable draw-beam is standard on the twin-skip Hookmate trailer and optional on the rest of the range.

Various sheeting systems are offered for Hookmate hook trailers. Chief among them is our own patented ‘End to End’ sheeter, which allows loading from either end of the trailer and supports DUAL-WIDTH operation—fully compliant with new Type Approval Regulations on Width. Alternatively, a manual tower system can be fitted, or customers may choose to use a sheeter supplied by their hooklift equipment provider.
